hello there,
my name is Lily Mayfield!
I created my brand LILY & MAY with a passion for design, colour, and individuality. I wanted to express art by creating one-off designs for every customer, to pair with any BASICS necklace or personal jewellery of their own.
My brand focuses on creating one-off designs for each piece of colourful jewellery, ethically handmade in Noosa by myself. These one-off designs are made to pair with the BASICS collection consisting of genuine freshwater pearls and neutral colours.
FAQ
who makes the pieces? ARE THEY HANDMADE?
Yes! Everything is handmade in Noosa, Queensland Australia by myself Lily Mayfield. I do everything myself from the photographing and styling to the making of the pieces and designs (sometimes I do collabs with other brands for shoots!).
ARE THE PEARLS REAL?
Yes! All pearls used are mostly freshwater pearls but sometimes I like to source alternative pearl types such as coin pearls (in the freshwater pearl family). I try my best to source the highest AAA-grade pearls with luster!
WHO IS LILY AND MAY?
Lily and May is not actually two people as most people assume, but just myself Lily Mayfield (the may is inspired by my last name). I was born March 19th, 2003 and am from Lorne, Victoria but moved to the sunny coast when I was 7 and have loved it ever since.
CAN I WEAR MY JEWELLERY IN THE OCEAN?
I strongly advise not to wear your jewellery or accessories in the ocean, shower or water of any sort as tarnishes may occur over time (especially the gold pieces as the plating can naturally wear off faster when used in water).
WHEN ARE YOU RESTOCKING YOUR PREVIOUS COLLECTION?
Unfortunately, previous collections will not be restocked as I only create one piece of every design to ensure every customer receives something super unique and special to them! I can do custom orders if you love a sold-out piece and use it as the basis for inspiration for your very own custom design!
where can I purchase your pieces?
Lily & May jewellery and accessories can be purchased online via the LILY AND MAY website or via our very first stockist CLO Studios (located in Noosa Junction). Only one piece of each design is available for purchase in the size stated, so be quick!
AM I ABLE TO RETURN OR SWAP MY PIECE?
Unfortunately, we cannot process returns right now due to the limited one-of-a-kind pieces available, so once purchased this cannot be returned or credited for a future purchase. If on the odd chance your piece arrives damaged you can be credited/remade your piece by contacting lilyandmayinfo@gmail.com with an attached picture of your damaged item. WHAT MATERIALS/metals DO YOU USE?
All materials used differ upon the design of the piece but most pieces will either have stainless steel or sterling silver clasps and metal findings on them. Each piece differs so make sure to read the description prior to purchasing, this is the same with length as all pieces are only one length and not adjustable.
